JETS is a Venturer Unit in the Sherbrooke Forest District, Victoria, Australia.
A bunch people from the bush, sitting right on the end of the Puffing Billy line in the middle of nowhere (except some people call it Gembrook).
We are between the ages of 15 - 18 yrs, and live our lives in harmony with the surrounding bush.......
Yeah I wouldn't believe that either,
We are to busy Abseiling, Go-carting, Rock-climbing, Hiking, Kayaking, Dancing, Camping and generally having FUN! We have our own Den under Gembrook Scout Hall, which we call our own and chill there every now and then.
To top it all off, almost everything we do, even if it is very subtle is helping us towards our Queen Scout Award. The highest award in the Venturer Section of Scouting.
JETS stands for Joint Eastern Towns Sherbrooke, which is where all our members live.
JETS are a strong Unit, and we a still growing. We have members from a variety of groups including Emerald, Cockatoo, Gembrook and others
And why do we do all this you might ask, the answer is simple!
BECAUSE WE CAN!
